As I run around with my activities, I usually keep my gear close.

OK sometimes TOO close.
I already have changed out my protection filters for new ones, since I didn’t get all the Golden Retriever nose smultz off my lenses. But it is worth it to get the shots. These guys (the Golden Retriever rescue dogs) are about as friendly as can be. Errr, or just too friendly, and the challenge for me as a photographer is to grab some nice shots of them so they can find a new home.
Due to the unfortunate turn in our economy, these guys need our help more than ever. And trust me, once I get my house, I will be taking a handful of these guys home.
Man or girl’s best friend is never better than one of these fur balls of friendly smiley happiness. So why not get a bunch of photos while I am around!
If you happen to be in need of a new best friend, I recommend checking out GRRR .

I genuinely like your writing style that you maintain throughout the blog. I will be popping in to leave some more comments later.
I’am thinking of buying a golden Retriever as a puppy for my daughter. Is this a solid choice? Is a Golden Retriever good with small children? My daughter is 6 years old.
Little kids and dogs can be a good or bad thing.
Here is the deal the any dog will protect themselves from being misused. So if little one pulls his tail he/she will bite back.
That being said. If you manage the little one and the dog well, I don’t see why they can’t be best friends. Just don’t expect a golden to guard your house.
